3 free things to do during the week in Alicante
Why wait until the weekend to enjoy a fun plan in Alicante? Going out from Monday to Friday can be complicated, with work and obligations in between, or even a bit lazy at first, but do you like to spend your days lamenting about just working-eating-sleeping until the weekend arrives? If you too are fed up with “damn Monday”, “Friday” and “finally Friday”, sign up for these 3 different plans, totally free and for all tastes with which you can enjoy the culture, leisure and social life in Alicante also during the week.
1. Cañas viajeras by Chapka
If you have a Genius level 3 in Booking, you live making and unpacking suitcases and you dream every day with your next destination, on October 27th at 19:00 h you have a super fun date in the Malatesta brewery. The 22nd edition of Cañas Viajeras, organised by the travel insurance company Chapka in collaboration with Modo Traveller, will be held there. It is a meeting between travellers to share tips, anecdotes and, in short, enjoy meeting other travel lovers. All this with a beer in hand, of course (the first drink and snacks are included).
Where: Av. del Dr. Gadea, 17.
2. Workshop ‘Lidera(te): a journey towards successful entrepreneurship’.
If going out for beers during the week gives you a guilty conscience, sign up for a productive plan, such as the experiential workshop “Lidera(te): a journey towards successful entrepreneurship” which will take place on 24 October from 18:00 to 20:00 at the Ulab coworking space. This training, aimed at entrepreneurs and business people, will focus on the Mapstell tool, a software based on the DISC model and behavioural styles to achieve effective leadership. You will learn to improve your verbal and non-verbal language, to understand how others perceive you and to facilitate agreements with collaborators.
Where: Pl. de San Cristóbal, 14.
3. Tower of Terror - Saraela
Halloween is approaching, and if you don’t feel like buying a crappy costume at the bazaar and going out to party, take a look at this terrifying plan organised by Maniquí Teatre. The Torre de Ansaldo, where the Centre d’Interpretació de l’Horta d’Alacant i la Música is located, will be filled with gloomy figures, shadows and whispers to tell the sad story of Saraela, a young woman who died in strange circumstances. We hope your heart is in good health, because the scares are guaranteed. You can enjoy this Tower of Terror from 31 October to 4 November in different shows starting at 9pm.
Where: Torre de Ansaldo, Sant Joan d’Alacant
