Festivals are also for winter in Madrid
If, for you, one of the worst things about saying goodbye to the good weather is saying goodbye to festivals, take note: in Madrid, the festival offer doesn’t stop even if the cold weather gets tougher. And to prove it, we bring you a selection of 3 autumn-winter festivals for all tastes. The best jazz, indie, pop and rock music from world stars and emerging talents will come to the capital to liven up your winter plans, so you can no longer complain that your social life comes to an end after the summer!
1. JazzMadrid 23
If jazz is your thing, you can’t miss the chance to experience one of the more than 70 concerts programmed for JazzMadrid 23. The festival, which this year celebrates its 3rd edition, will feature the most outstanding international figures of this genre, as well as emerging talents. The best of classical and contemporary jazz can be enjoyed until 30 November in different venues, such as the Fernán Gómez Theatre, the Condeduque Cultural Centre and other centres programmed by Villanos del Jazz.
2. Inverfest 24
What festival is capable of bringing together Iván Ferreiro, Miguel Poveda and Marwan? Inverfest is back with its tenth edition and a varied line-up featuring artists such as Ismael Serrano, Sidonie and Veintiuno. The festival will be held at the WiZink Center, La Riviera, the Teatro Circo Price and other venues.
3. Christmas by Starlite
If you like the intimate and exclusive atmosphere of boutique festivals, mark your calendars for the week of 14-20 December. Directly from Marbella, the famous Starlite festival will arrive at IFEMA to celebrate Christmas with artists such as Sting, Rod Stewart, Ricky Martin, Sebastián Yatra and Juan Magán.
