5 tips to be more productive at work
Being productive does not necessarily mean working more, but working better (and arriving at the end of the day in good shape). Here are 5 tips to increase your productivity at work.
1. Simplify the environment
It’s a cliché, but it helps. Clear desk, minimum visual noise and silence. Things change from 0 to 100.
2. Plan your day
Even if you like to be a leaf blowing in the wind, you need to plan your day. A tip: the tasks that make you the most lazy, do them first, you will see how the rest of the day flows.
3. More breaks
Have you heard of the Pomodoro method? Rest 5 minutes for every 25 minutes of work, if possible, getting up from your chair and doing something physical other than looking at a screen.
4. No to multitasking
Doing a thousand things at once increases the chances of making mistakes and ends up exhausting and stressing us. Tasks should be done one at a time.
5. Learn to say “no”.
And by this we mean not prioritizing other people’s deadlines or doing tasks that do not correspond to you all the time. Do your own thing.
