A walk through the history of the Earth at the Paleontological Museum of Elche
If you are into science, fossils and museums and you are the Ross Geller of your group of friends, don’t miss the Paleontological Museum of Elche. With more than 1,200 fossils and incredible reconstructions and audiovisual material, touring the two floors of the MUPE is to immerse yourself in the history of life on our planet, learning about the fauna and flora of the Paleozoic, Mesozoic and Cenozoic periods.
Some jewels of the collection are the original remains of a dinosaur from Morella and a mastodon from Crevillent. Although the center of attention is usually the impressive recreation of a T-Rex skull. Located in the Raval neighborhood, the MUPA is the only paleontology museum in the province of Alicante. You can visit it from Tuesday to Saturday for 2€ and on Sundays for free.
