Museo Gran Vía 15: contemporary art reinvents itself in Madrid
Modern art is not for everyone, but with the new way of understanding it proposed by Museo Gran Vía 15, it can become so. Located in the former headquarters of the historic Aldao jewelry store, on the city’s most famous street, this new museum has a clear objective: to connect with the viewer through reflection, yes, but also through emotion. Its first exhibition is a declaration of intentions: Walking Life, by Okuda San Miguel (available until November 30). An exhibition full of surrealism that explores the different paths that life offers us through color, geometry and audiovisual installations.
The downtown museum also has a space for the sale of local crafts that aims to promote the accessible consumption of contemporary products. This new way of experiencing contemporary art promises a lot.
