Located in the Palace of the Marqués de Campo, a 17th century residential building renovated in the 19th century, the City Museum brings together archaeological collections from the time of the conquest of King Jaume I and other periods such as the Muslim or Roman. In addition, in its interior of marble, balustrades, sculptures, domes and staircases, temporary exhibitions of local artists are also on display.
In some areas, such as the ballroom or the Empire room, elements of the original furniture remain. This museum can be visited from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 19:00 and on Sundays and holidays from 10:00 to 14:00. General admission is 2 € (on Sundays and holidays it is free).
