Mochis, dorayakis and manga: Mochisan is the Japanese pastry shop you won't want to leave
If you love everything related to Japan and your mouth watered every time Doraemon ate a dorayaki, you’ll feel right at home at Mochisan. This cosy Japanese-style café, located in the Extramurs neighbourhood, makes the softest, tastiest and sweetest handmade mochis in the city. They have 10 different flavours to choose from, but if you’re not too keen on this rice-based Japanese cake, you can also order a portion of fluffy cheesecake, a dorayaki or a taiyaki (that fish-shaped waffle you’ve seen all over social media), served on crockery handmade by Andrea, the owner. To drink, there are teas, juices, speciality coffees and yuzu lemonade. At Mochisan you can also read some manga or play one of their board games. Sweets, fun and a different plan to share with friends.
