We are talking about El Contraste, a “churrería-buñolería” which, although it is open 365 days a year, is a hit during Fallas week.
Located in Ruzafa, this establishment is run by the 4th generation of a family of churro artisans who still preserve the secret of the traditional fried dough. The result: the best churros and pumpkin fritters you’ve ever tasted. Well, and then there’s their chocolate, with the perfect thickness and sweetness. A snack of the gods that can be enjoyed at any time of the day: breakfast after a night of partying, after-dinner snack on a verbena evening… It’s clear: Fallas tastes like churros and fritters!
