A different plan: this is the Erotic Museum of Barcelona
In a city full of art and culture in all its expressions, such as Barcelona, a museum dedicated to the most universal and mundane subject of all could not be missing: eroticism and sexuality. We are talking about the Museum of Erotica, a didactic and entertaining space that offers an artistic, anthropological and literary journey through the theme of eroticism throughout history. From Ancient Greece to the 1920s, this museum located on the Rambla houses 800 works including sculptures, paintings and photographs.
The MEB, considered the first erotic-themed museum in the world, has a permanent exhibition dedicated to Gustav Klimt, as well as an extensive collection of Asian art. Admission, which can be purchased online, includes a glass of cava, juice or water, and opening hours are Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 00:00 and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 to 00:00.
