Free tour of Europe without leaving Madrid
If you’ve run out of holidays this year and the budget is tight, it doesn’t mean you can’t join the postureo. If you want to visit and take pictures next to the main monuments of the continent, Parque Europa makes it easy for you. Located in Torrejón de Ardoz, half an hour from Madrid, this amusement park offers a large green space with more than 5000 trees and 60000 shrubs, although what is most striking and why it receives hundreds of visitors every day is the 17 replicas of the most famous monuments in Europe. The Tower of Belém, the Manneken Pis, the Eiffel Tower, Michelangelo’s David and the Trevi Fountain are some of the recreations on display in Parque Europa. Another attraction worth seeing is the fountain show. A show with water, lights and music available free of charge -just like the entrance to the park- every weekend in summer. There are also two restaurants on the grounds to complete this plan that combines fun and culture.
