The best marathons to run in Spain

1. Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series of Madrid

It is held in spring and its route starts at the Paseo de la Castellana, passing through well-known enclaves of the city, such as the Almudena or the Bernabeu, and ending at Fuente de Neptuno.

2. Zurich San Sebastian Marathon

In this race the runners have as an incentive the passage through the touristic Playa de la Concha. Be careful, it is held in autumn, the rainy season in the area.

3. Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Marathon

A fast race on the flat and at sea level that ends in the idyllic setting of the City of Arts and Sciences. Held in December, with the mild winter temperatures typical of the Mediterranean.

4. Zurich Seville Marathon

One of the most beautiful routes, which runs through the streets and squares of the capital. It is the first of the year to be held in February.
