The formula for success to stay in the gym
If you’ve spent more time at the gym, but not going, than hours exercising, don’t worry, you’re not alone. We share with you our master formula to create a habit and not give up the fitness life.
1. Set your goal
Do you want to lose weight, gain muscle mass, improve your endurance? Be clear about what you want to go to the gym for and don’t go in any other direction (no matter how many videos of miraculous routines you see on networks).
2. Define your routine
Based on your goals, create a realistic routine, adapted to your level (which at the beginning will be rather low) and add difficulty progressively. Be gentle and don’t put pressure on yourself.
3. Commit to
To do this, set specific days to go to the gym and don’t improvise. It will help you not to fail at the beginning. If it helps, you can go with a friend to motivate you more.
4. Make it cool
The gym doesn’t have to be a torture room. Posturing aside, wear comfortable clothes that you like (the advertising t-shirt with holes does not motivate you much), listen to music that gives you energy or, if your gym is modern, take the opportunity to watch a series.
